It is crazy to think that we have been in business as Studio 708 for almost an entire year now(if you don't know the back-story, please check out our About Us page)! Tim and I have been busy with newborns, weddings, milestone sessions, seniors and business portraits and are so grateful for all of the support from our friends and clients. We have grown so much in the past year and wanted to take time to welcome any new fans or people looking into hiring us for the special events or portrait needs. Here is a little about what we do and we hope you feel free to follow along on our facebook page to see what we are up to!
First off, we adore our Seniors. If you haven't yet, take some time to flip through our senior gallery and see all of the amazing, talented young people that we have worked with. We are already booking sessions for June-August and will also be posting soon about Spring Senior Minis that will be available as an add-on to your big senior session! These will be mostly for fun and will give our seniors a sort of "trial run" before they come in for their full session with us. We can't wait to start shooting in warmer weather! <3
Along with starting our new partnership, we took four of our senior reps on a trip to the fabulous city of Chicago last year. We plan to do another trip this year, with a few revisions and different locations within the city. Destination shoots are something we plan to do more of in the future. If you have a special request for locations, please contact us for a consult.
Weddings also keep us crazy busy and we love all of the couples we have the opportunity to work with. We have cut back the number of weddings we take on, to make sure we are providing better service to each client and putting our effort into quality over quantity. We are booked solid for 2017 weddings and are currently booking up for 2018. Ask us about our Winter wedding discounts for weddings occuring January-March!
It wouldn't be a Studio 708 post without the mention of babies thrown in there....
We have really come to love and enjoy our newborn clients and our ultimate goal is to become THE newborn studio here in the Fox Valley and provide the best experience possible. We have recently added all-inclusive newborn packages, to accomodate those on a tighter budget, but also offer some amazing collections, high end wall portraiture options, and albums, for those who want to turn those images into an heirloom for their children.
On the studio side of things, we have majorly vamped up our collection of hats, tie-backs, wraps, backdrops, props and color options to truly create a custom experience for each client. You can expect to come into a clean, warm studio, with plenty of space to spread out and relax while we gently work our way through your child's session. Parents are welcome to watch the entire process from our comfortable couch area, and can snack and enjoy the wifi while we work. Tim and I take newborn safety very seriously, to keep your little one safe in their poses and anytime we are holding them.
When should you book? We strongly recommend booking the newborn session before you give birth, and really, as soon as you are sure you want newborn photos. Dates are open on our schedule for "rain" dates, in case your little one is born early or late. The prime time for best results, is photographing them between 4-12 days after birth.
One major change for this year, is the new addition of Children's Mini Sessions. These are for children only, milestone sessions or just to have updated images of your kids! These sessions start at $375 and include digital images! This is an awesome addition to our sessions and make updating the kid's portraits a breeze. Sessions are typically 45 minutes long and include 2-3 set ups in our studio. Availability is limited, so give us a shout at info@studio708oshkosh.com or visit through the contact page.
